The MPL-4 charger from Traction Charger has been designed with the latest and future workshop standards in mind. Updates can be downloaded from our website and loaded using the supplied lead.
Suitable for most common battery types LiFePO4, Ca/Ca, Ca/Ag, AGM, GEL and conventional lead acid.
The MPL-4 features a contactor reset mode for reactivating disabled/highly discharged LiFePO4 batteries.
As with all Traction Battery Chargers the MPL-4 is manufactured at our own UK site
MPL-4 comes with with a sensing lead set allowing the ultimate in efficient charging. MPL-4 also features a constant output mode for battery support functionality at up to 125A.
MPL-4 is available in shelf, ramp and portable versions.

ASU4 provides an active stable voltage and up to 90 amps of fully regulated power to prevent loss of charge and damage to the battery.
ASU4 can be used with any 12V automotive battery including Lithium, AGM and GEL.
When the battery is charged the ASU is a regulated power supply to sustain accessory loads and offset parasitic drain.
Lead state monitoring ensuring safe and stable output voltage conditions.
Designed for use in the workshop or showroom and compatible with our diagnostic trolleys.
Portable or wall mount options available.
Reverse polarity protection.
Output current display.
Temperature monitoring.
Supplied with IEC power lead and 4.7M output leads.

Battery Chargers
The MPL is suitable for use on AGM, GEL, Calcium and Lead Acid battery types. The MPL is used by some of the world's leading vehicle and battery manufacturers and it features our own patented Sulphation Recovery System. To read more specifications of the MPL download the MPL factsheet here.
WORKSHOP TROLLEY
This trolley is designed for ease-of-use in the workshop, with a slimline design for easy manoeuvrability. The trolley has the ability to hold multiple Traction chargers and units, with four independent sockets at the rear, and a top plate for laptops.
Battery Support Units
The BSU range all provide constant voltage to prevent loss of data and possible damage to control units during software updates, and module reprogramming as well as diagnostic processes when in a Key On, Engine Off state.
BANK ADAPTORS
Bank adaptors will manage the charge by sequencing around each battery, completing the bulk charge process, then it will move onto the next battery. They can manage up to 5 batteries and can be chained for up to 17 batteries to be connected simultaneously. Our bank adaptors are a complementary product to the MPL50 charger & MPL50-Li charger.
Showroom Support Units
Derived from the popular BSU2-50 this low profile (130mm) battery conditioner has been designed specifically for car showrooms. With the SSU2-50 Showroom connected to your vehicles you can be sure that they are always ready for demonstration and that the battery will be kept in prime condition. JLR Service Support
We offer service support for JLR dealers based in the EU and mainland UK. To order this repair service please fill in the Product Support form, then download the returns label that follows. Include your receipt number from this transaction in the fault description box. We will collect your faulty unit within 48 hours (probably sooner) and return it to you within 5 working days.
