BSU4 provides a stable voltage and up to 90 amps (12V mode) of fully regulated power to prevent loss of charge and damage to the battery.
BSU4 can be used with any 12/24V automotive battery including AGM and GEL.
When the battery is charged the BSU4 is a regulated power supply to sustain accessory loads and offset parasitic drain.
Reverse polarity protection. Supplied with 5M IEC power lead.

FEATURES
BSU4 provides a constant voltage to prevent loss of data and possible damage to control units during software updates, and module reprogramming as well as diagnostic processes when in a Key On, Engine Off state.
BSU4 automatically detects if connected to a 12V or a 24V system and adjusts output accordingly. Up to 90A can be supplied to 12V systems and 50A to 24V systems.
During diagnostic or programming operations, the vehicle’s systems are operating solely from the battery. Maintaining battery charge during this process is critical.
The status of BSU4 is indicated simply by three LED’s – POWER, POLARITY, DEMAND. When all 3 are illuminated, BSU4 is supporting the battery.
Designed to be free standing, wall, ramp or trolley mounted the BSU4 has been designed to meet the needs of the high power consuming commercial vehicle.
Supplied with 5M output leads as standard.
