Lithium-iron batteries need a particular type of battery charger and support unit. Using the wrong type could actually fatal for the battery. Here’s all of our products that are compatible with LiFePO4 batteries.

 

MPL50-LI CHARGER

  • The MPL50-LI charger has been designed with the latest workshop standards in mind.

BSU2-50B BATTERY SUPPORT UNIT

  • Provides a constant voltage to prevent loss of data and possible damage to control units during software updates, and module reprogramming as well as diagnostic processes when in a Key On, Engine Off state.

  • BSU2-50B can be used with any 12V automotive battery including AGM and GEL

  • When the battery is charged the BSU is a regulated power supply to sustain accessory loads and offset parasitic drain

  • Designed for use in the workshop and compatible with most diagnostic trolleys

  • Reverse polarity protection

  • Supplied with 5m IEC power lead (BSU2-50-LS)

CSU2-50B COMBO SUPPORT UNIT

  • CSU2-50B can be used with any 12V automotive battery including AGM, GEL and LiFeP04.

  • In CSU mode, when the battery is charged the CSU is a regulated power supply to sustain accessory loads and offset parasitic drain with battery state detection, ensuring safe prolonged use.

  • In BSU mode a continuous power source is supplied to the battery until physically removed.

  • Output current display.

  • Reverse polarity protection.

  • Disconnect detection.

  • Comes with 16ft (4.8M) lead set and 8’ (2.4M) C15 to 5-15P power cord.

 

SSU2-50B SHOWROOM SUPPORT UNIT

  • This low profile (3.5”) battery conditioner has been designed specifically for car showrooms.

  • The intelligent sensing in the SSU2-50B determines exactly when support is required to minimize unnecessary noise and power consumption.

  • Battery state detection, ensuring safe prolonged use.

  • Output current display.

  • Reverse polarity protection.

  • Disconnect detection.

  • Supplied with 5m extension lead (SSU-EXT), jump start clamp leads (JLR-BLADE) and clamps for JLR Discovery Sport and Evoque (BSU-CLIP)

 

SSU2-50/S SILENT SHOWROOM SUPPORT UNIT

CDU1 BANK ADAPTOR

  • This is a complementary product to the MPL50 charger and MPL50-Li charger that manages charging of a bank of up to 5 batteries.

  • It can be either placed under the MPL50/MPL50-Li charger or situated remotely by use of optional link lead.

  • Power is provided from the MPL50/MPL50-Li. When a battery is disconnected the unit will turn off power to the output making the leads safe from accidental shorts.

  • The 5 output connectors are compatible with Traction standard yellow 50 Amp lead sets.

  • The module input is a red 50 Amp connector. A yellow to red interface lead is provided ensuring correct connection.

  • The status of each channel is indicated by an LED above each connector.

  • Units can be daisy-chained allowing up to 17 batteries to be connected simultaneously.

 

BSU2-50C BATTERY SUPPORT UNIT

  • Provides a stable voltage and up to 50 amps of fully regulated power to prevent loss of charge and damage to the battery.

  • BSU2-50C can be used with any 12V automotive battery including AGM, GEL and lithium.

  • This unit closes the contacts on lithium batteries.

  • Provides a constant voltage to prevent loss of data and possible damage to control units during software updates, and module reprogramming as well as diagnostic processes when in a Key On, Engine Off state.

  • Designed to be wall, ramp or trolley mounted
